MATERIAL WORLDS – SYNTHETIC NARRATIVES
Material Worlds - Synthetic Narratives explores materiality through short films and animations. Students selected substances such as silicon, wax, latex, or algae. They investigated the aesthetic, atmospheric, and phenomenological qualities of these substances, as well as their economic, social, and environmental implications. The research then served as the foundation for developing critical and speculative narratives expressed through spatial design and worldbuilding.
