The city is in a state of constant flux – affected by spatial and social shifts, conflict, gentrification, the climate crisis and the political order. The ‘Kunstraum’ is a resilient testing ground, surrounded by increasingly rapid transformations: by adapting to the changing times, the structure itself keeps itself alive. Imperfections, defects, holes, cracks, colours: These features are made visible through spatial mouldings. The question we pose is: How do we define “city”?
